Virginia Ballroom

This elegant room boasts a dance floor and plenty of seating. At 6,100 square feet, it has plenty of room for dining and dancing or classroom teaching with our multimedia projector and sound system. It has a seating capacity of 300+.

Dogwood Room

This midsized room boasts 2,100 sq. feet and is built to accommodate a medium sized group. It is a great room for holding classes, seminars or other events that don’t require as much space as the Ballroom offers.

Cardinal Room

The coziest room in the house. The Cardinal room offers an 860 Sq. foot space for holding small meetings of up to 40 people comfortably. It also has a small kitchen area with a microwave, sink and coffee machine.

Catering with The Greasy Bean Cafe

The Greasy Bean Café features authentic Appalachian cuisine from our regionally inspired cook. Greasy beans are considered the Cadillac, the Mercedes, the Maserati, while Blue Lakes are considered the Yugo. Greasys have been a mainstay of mountain gardens since the first European settlers pushed their wagons over the Blue Ridge. Greasy beans — which owe their name to their distinctively shiny, fuzz-free pod — were so cherished by early mountaineers that a bride’s trousseau often included a few seeds from her family’s unique strain.
